Our chapter hosts events throughout the year in order to connect our members with each other and our faculty.
Inductions
Inductions are hosted in the Miller Learning Center on campus in order to honor our new members, ranging from UGA membership level to National level. Our faculty sponsor, Dr. Andrew Owsiak, attends the event as well as the SIR executive board. Members are honored by calling their names so they can be recognized before their peers. After the ceremony, we provide light refreshments so our members and some of our faculty can mingle.
Coffee with Professors
Each semester, we host Coffee with Professors, an event where our members are able to come out and meet each other in addition to some of our distinguished faculty. We talk on a variety of subjects including post-grad plans, current events, and of course Georgia football. Here are some pictures from our previous events.
